
ARRANGE A REPAIR
Fixed Price repairs include the cost of collecting and returning your appliance, it also includes a general service, full functional test and safety test. Please ensure the item is adequately packaged for transport by courier, we recommend the item be placed inside a strong cardboard box with a minimum of 3-4 cm’s of packing material all round the item in the box (polystyrene, bubble wrap or screwed up newspaper etc). Upon receipt of your repair order you will be contacted by our Service Team to arrange a suitable date for the collection.
In addition to Polti we also provide repairs for all major brands of Steam Cleaners, Vacuum Cleaners, Steam Generator Irons, Steam Ironing Station and Boards, Including, Euroflex, Domotec, Stirella, Simac, Tefal, Oreck, Sebo, Dyson, Hoover, Miele, etc.

Terms and Conditions for Repairs
The Terms and Conditions shown during the checkout process relate primarily to sales rather than repairs. Payment is taken securely via the HSBC payments web site. Cookies MUST be enabled on your computer for the checkout process to work correctly.
If you prefer to pay by phone you may do so, but please note there is a surcharge of £5.00 for telephone bookings.
We offer a collection, repair and return service but the service is chargeable. You may book the collection, repair and return service online, upon receipt of your request you will be contacted by our service team to arrange a suitable date for the collection (and again for the return once the repair is completed). This obviously only applies to those unable to bring the equipment to (or collect from) our Dunstable Service centre. Failed collections or returns will be charged at the specific rate before they are re-booked.Carriage Costs
Fixed Price repairs relate to items with a single fault, products with more than one fault may have a higher cost to repair but you will be notified if this is the case before work proceeds. If more than one fault is noted on your appliance you would only be charged for the additional parts required, wherever possible we will complete repairs for the single price stated. Fixed Price repairs exclude replacement of Boilers, Motors, Complete Cabinets and Iron Assemblies as these are expensive parts rarely required in the completion of a repair. In the unlikely event that your appliance needs one of these parts you will be quoted separately, the average cost of these parts is £60.00 but may vary to a degree. If you are quoted extra to complete a repair and decide not to proceed or it is not possible to complete a repair due to unobtainable parts or excessive costs you will be credited for the repair costs already paid and will only have paid the collection and return costs. Alternatively you may wish to purchase a graded or new replacement, in which case the repair costs paid would be deducted from the replacements cost. This is extremely rare though as the vast majority of all repairs booked online are completed for the standard Fixed Price shown.
All repairs carried out are covered by 3 months service warranty. This covers only the parts fitted to complete the repair / service and is not a warranty against other faults that may develop, nor does it cover your sending and return costs. If we notice a part that is likely to fail soon whilst carrying out a repair for you we will advise you of the possibility and give you the option of having it replaced at the same time to save on labour and return costs.
If you do need to return an item to us under the 3 month warranty please go to the Repair Warranty page, select the relevant service and please also include a copy of your invoice or the reference numbers from it.
In order to complete a diagnosis for your repair it will be necessary to take the equipment apart and carry out fault finding tests upon it. If you do not proceed with a repair or the item is beyond repair it may not be possible to return the equipment in exactly the same state as it was received. It may not be possible or safe to put damaged or faulty items back in to the equipment, but providing it is safe to do so we will always endeavour to return un-repaired equipment in as close to the state in which it was received as possible. In some cases cabinet parts may become marked during the investigation and repair stages as they are not designed to be opened during normal use, every care is taken to make sure this does not happen but it is sometimes unavoidable. Where this represents a safety issue the parts will be replaced during the repair but where it only represents a cosmetic affect we will not usually replace these parts.
Parts that have been replaced and Sundry items used during a repair will be disposed of in accordance with the Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and any other applicable legislation (we will not normally return old parts to you).
If upon completion of a Quote or Repair the equipment is not Collected or a Return Arranged within 30 days the equipment will be disposed of by our service department as they see fit (for completed repairs this may include selling the equipment to cover our costs). This includes (but is not limited to) the following scenarios:
Equipment has been sent to us with No Contact Details and after 30 days you have not been in touch with us
A Quote has been sent but no reply has been received within 30 days of Quote date
A Quote has been refused and we have been unable to contact you to arrange return / collection
A repair has been completed but we have been unable to contact you to arrange return / collection
Our carrier returns an item to us because no-one was in to sign for it and we have been unable to contact you within 30 days of the date the item was returned.

In addition to Polti repairs we also offer Fixed Price repairs and servicing on all major brands of Steam Generator Irons, Cylinder and Upright Vacuum Cleaners, Steam Cleaners, Ironing Stations and Boards, including but not limited to: Euroflex, Tefal, Oreck, Sebo, Dyson, Hoover, Miele, Domotec, Stirella and Simak. Simply follow the same procedure indicated for Polti but when we contact you to arrange the collection advise us of the make and model of the item we are collecting.
