For service work not covered by Guarantee we make a charge of £15.00 when the item is booked in to cover the cost of preparing a quote for you. This amount is non refundable but is deducted from your final bill if you go ahead with a repair. If you would like us to collect the item and return it to you on completion please make your payment online (below). You will be contacted by our Service Team to arrange a suitable date for the collection. For items booked online for collection and return we do not charge for the inspection and quotation. Please ensure the item is adequately packed to prevent damage in transit and that it is clearly labelled with our address and that the label is securely attached. If your item is Under Guarantee there will be no charge for the work carried out providing it is covered, if the fault is the result of accidental damage or user serviceable parts we will advise you of the cost to complete the repair. If your item is brought in, or sent in, without adequate proof of purchase and guarantee certificate the charges will need to be paid before any work is carried out unless you can provide the required documents. If you are sending your equipment to us for repair please ensure you enclose the following details:

Please Scroll down for details relating to service and repair booked online The Terms and Conditions shown during the check out process relate Primarily to Sales
Please note: We offer a collection and return service but the service is chargeable. You may book the collection and return service online, upon receipt of your request you will be contacted by our service team to arrange a suitable date for the collection (and again for the return once the repair is completed). This obviously only applies to those unable to bring the equipment to (or collect from) our Dunstable Service centre. All repairs carried out are covered by 3 months service warranty. This covers only the parts fitted to complete the repair / service and is not a warranty against other faults that may develop, nor does it cover your sending and return costs. If we notice a part that is likely to fail soon whilst carrying out a repair for you we will advise you of the possibility and give you the option of having it replaced at the same time to save on labour and return costs. In order to complete a quotation for your repair it will be necessary to take the equipment apart and carry out fault finding tests upon it. If you do not proceed with a repair or the item is beyond repair it may not be possible to return the equipment in exactly the same state as it was received. It may not be possible or safe to put damaged or faulty items back in to the equipment, but providing it is safe to do so we will always endeavour to return un-repaired equipment in as close to the state in which it was received as possible. In some cases cabinet parts may become marked during the investigation and repair stages as they are not designed to be opened during normal use, every care is taken to make sure this does not happen but it is sometimes unavoidable. Where this represents a safety issue the parts will be replaced during the repair but where it only represents a cosmetic affect we will not usually replace these parts. Parts that have been replaced and Sundry items used during a repair will be disposed of in accordance with the Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and any other applicable legislation (we will not normally return old parts to you). If upon completion of a Quote or Repair the equipment is not Collected or a Return Arranged within 30 days the equipment will be disposed of by our service department as they see fit (for completed repairs this may include selling the equipment to cover our costs). This includes (but is not limited to) the following scenarios: Equipment has been sent to us with No Contact Details and after 30 days you have not been in touch with us A Quote has been sent but no reply has been received within 30 days of Quote date A Quote has been refused and we have been unable to contact you to arrange return / collection A repair has been completed but we have been unable to contact you to arrange return / collection Our carrier returns an item to us because no-one was in to sign for it and we have been unable to contact you within 30 days of the date the item was returned.
Most Polti equipment sold now comes with a 2 Year Guarantee covering repair subject to registration. A Guarantee form is usually enclosed with the product and should be completed and returned to Polti to register for your additional guarantee or warranty period against repair. This will cover you against repair costs for manufacturing defects and faults that occur during this period, but does not guarantee against repair of faults as a result of improper use, failure to follow manufacturers instructions, accidental damage or user serviceable parts. We offer both under guarantee and chargeable repair to all Polti products including their full steam and vacuum cleaner range, iron and ironing tables, and coffee machines. All chargeable Polti repair will receive a quote for parts and labour required to effect the repair, the cost of repair can be paid online, details of payment methods will be included in your quotation.
